Racist Puppeteers

Minami Williams is a senior at University of California Los Angeles, majoring in anthropology. She is also a member of the Honors Program. During the Fall 2021 quarter, she enrolled in an Honors course titled Art and Trauma. Creating a Zine was one of her assignments. Minami chose to explore the historical injustices and inequality of African Americans from slavery to today- combining imagery and text with her original poetry and storytelling.
