Recently I have been taking this action when I get a text asking me for more money for act blue or a democrat. I respond with the following:

How about you guys stop asking us for money all the time and try to solve the issues a different way. I am a democrat but money is not the way this whole thing will be solved. Democrats need to start asking people to do things that demonstrate our unhappiness. Instead you are watching good people get killed in Minneapolis and asking for money every day. I donate money every month to act blue and all I get is tons of spam texts every day from democrats asking for money. If you can pass this message on to anyone who is in charge at act blue, please do. I've had it.

Feel free to copy and paste it. I work my arse off at work to pay bills and help others. These messages drive me up the wall. We need to put pressure on democrats to do better.
